Even after fifty years there's always firsts. New places, new adventures, new cultures, new opportunities to escape the ordinary.

And now a first that I've longed for – publication of one of our travel experiences, (Thailand) in The Toronto Star, Canada's national newspaper with the largest overall weekly circulation.

We were newly weds off for adventure when we arrived in England fifty-one years ago, hitchhiking our way through Europe and North Africa. Little did we know it would change the trajectory of our lives, a lifelong passion for travel ignited – a passion that still burns brightly.

I hope sharing our travel stories opens the world a bit more and and inspires others to veer off the main path and pave their own.
